奔跑的小短腿 , While an LC/MS system may operate in both positive and negative ion polarity modes, it will switch between the two polarities based on the user input in the acquisition software. It is not possible to acquire in both polarities simultaneously but rather the MS switches between the two polarities (positive and negative) quickly or the user may define specific time segments in which different acquisitions take place in the defined time segments.
