I am sending this question for help with shaping columns on Prep LCMS.
Our lab is currently using Agilent 1290 Infinity Preparative LCMS. We were notified of the fact that when we change the preparative column, the size will be different, thus we need to readjust parameters in the chemstation programme to make sure the machine goes well with the new column.
As far as I know, the change in the size of the column will change the retention time, inner pressure, and collection delay time. But I am not sure if I am missing some other parameters that matter.
And I am not able to find the exact procedure on what to do with the programme when you swap the columns.
I would really appreciate it if anyones willing to share the manual about what exact steps to do in the programme when swapping columns.
