I am having an issue where my reference ions for QToF 6530 specifically 1033 is saturating the detector in negative ion mode (Abundance approx. 15 - 22 million) the solution was prepared by following the given method and was observed by engineers so has been prepared correctly. There is not the same issue in positive mode.
Has anyone come across this before is there another solution other than preparing different reference mixes for different modes. I would like to avoid this where possible as I will be swapping between modes reasonably frequently. I have used another 6530 before and not seen this issue although there were slight differences between the instruments, such as the one having issues is Dual AJS ESI and the other one was a Dual ESI.
