What is "Conditioning on/off" for?

So, if  uses the same settings as the last method, is there any difference just to turn the system on?  it sounds useless...

Use your established method what you were using earlier..

I know, it is just I want to understand what this option is doing.  From what are you saying, it just turns on the system using the initial conditions of the last loaded method.

If you watch the pressure trace with Conditioning On, you will see that the pump is operating in a different mode to normal solvent delivery.  The pressure trace may show pressure drops/increases as the Conditioning mode works its magic!

Yes, Andy is correct. The pistons are moving differently during conditioning which allows the pump heads to more efficiently dissolve residual air inside the pump heads.
