Agilent Infinity LCMS Valve Configuration Error

We had shut our LCMS (Infinity 1260) off completely during the COVID situation. Upon starting it up, we now have an error in which the valve system is offline and not being recognized (we have analytical/prep systems and they use a valve controller to switch between the different flow systems). It is giving the error "Configuration mismatch: Changed Valve version from 2-pos/10-port preparative valve 600 bar (5067-4193) to Generic Valve." 

 

Has anyone else ever experienced this and have a fix? We tried shutting everything off, power cycling the modules, and talking with Agilent support who reconfigured it, but it is still not working. Any suggestions would be extremely appreciated. 

  • What Acquisition software are you using?

  • We are just using the Agilent LCMS (online) software that came with the system [there are four programs: LCMS (online), LCMS (offline), Prep (online), and Prep (offline)]. We talked to the Agilent service again on the phone, and they reset the configuration an additional two times but still it is not working. I almost feel it is a hardware issue, seeing as none of the fixes we have tried worked. The only strange thing is that it was working fine before the system was shut down :/
