I am new to Agilent LC systems and I want to develop an alternating-column regeneration method.
I have an Agilent 1290 II system with 10 port valve column compartments. I know this method requires two pumps so can I use the Cap pump as a second pump although the maximum flow rate is 20 uL? or there is any way to use the 1290 Infinity II High-Speed Pump only?
Also, I need help on how to build the method on the chemstation software.

Adding to what kbusch wrote. The Cap pump can go up to 2.5 ml/min if you modify it to normal mode which needs the electronic flow control bypassed. You will need to add the manual purge valve and bypass the EMPV and flow control. The adapter and purge valve came with the Cap pump.
