I have proshell hilic-oh5. When I increase the flow rate to 0.5 as instructed, the frit from the head starts leaking. Do I need to change frits? It is a kind of universal frit.
Using peek fingertight fittings on the inlet to the column is the problem here. As you increase the flow, the pressure pops the tubing out of this fitting.
Better to use stainless steel nuts and ferrules on the high pressure end of the column, like you have on the outlet.
