Hello
I need advice for chromatographic analysis with a RID detector;
The baseline is very bad, what advice would you give me to improve it?
What temperature should I set my RID to for analysis with an 85°C oven?
Thank you for your help

I'm not surprised to see a massive drift. The maximum temperature on the optical unit of the RID is 55 degrees Celsius. Usually the TCC/MCT needs to be at the very same temperature.
Please check chapter 5 "Optimizing the Refractive Index Detector" of the G1362A user manual.
With RIDs, you always need to be patient. Equilibration easily takes an hour or two. For OQ/PV, we even equilibrate overnight.
