I have a third party valve that can receive a TTL to switch positions. I have connected two wires to pin 8 (PREPARE) and ground. How do I signal an event in OpenLab CDS? The best I could find was designing a sample prep method and using the "remote" function in a timetable. However, when I run the method, it remains stuck in Prerun mode. This happens until I manually close the circuit on pin 7 (START). Is there any way to make use of an event on the the pins labelled NOT in USE?
