Sample setting

What model wellplate sampler is this? 

You will need the tray that holds 2 plates and 10 vials- pn G2258-60111. G2258-60111 | Agilent   The sampler recognizes the tray installed and then you assign which plates you have installed.  Right click on the sampler icon and Assign plates.

It was just an image representing the vials, it is already in the HPLC I use, this one G2258-60111 | Agilent,  but I wanted to know if you had any advice on who I should contact to set up the system so that the needle fits into the 96-well plates, as it is now set up for vials. Thanks 

Can you provide the model number of the Sampler? 

A Jhagel explained, the sampler will automatically recognize what tray is installed but will not know what plates are used.  However, once you configure the correct one as described in the earlier response, the Sampler will automatically know where the 96 welll plate holes are to withdraw the sample.  You MUST configure the CORRECT plate though.

The model of the sample is 446048 of HPLC Agilent Technologies 1260 Infinity II and the 96-well plates Nunc 96-Well Polystyrene Conical Bottom MicroWell Plates of ThermoFisher and the sample trays is compatible for the 96-well plates.

With the G7129A/B/C this is not possible.

With the G7167A/B Multisampler this can be done by right clicking on the multisampler in the software and going to Assign Wellplates. There you can choose the 96 Nunc wellplate.

Okay, I saw different containers, I put 96DeepNunc31mm, will the needle be able to insert itself directly into the weelplates without going too far down and also centre the individual sample directly? or is there something else that needs to be set?

Hey, based on the description of your container in the previous message, I think you do not have the 96DeepNunc, but rather the 96 Nunc. The dimensions could also be reviewed via the instrument configuration, then clicking on the multisampler configuration, and then define sample containers. The 96Nunc and 96DeepNunc seem to have different plate heights. 14.3 and 31.5 mm respectively. When the correct tray is chosen, the sample does everything then automatically as long as the containers have enough volume.

Hi Kbush, okay thanks, so then everything is fine after I choose the correct container and the system for sampling is ready for start the injection and don't need other particular set-up, right?
