System pressure test failing - Agilent Lab Advisor

Hello,

I am having an issue getting the system pressure test to pass. I have referred to the manual and followed all the steps, and have checked for any leaks (there are no visible leaks) and the leak test on the system is also passing - yet the pressure is still failing. We have changed Could anyone help me?

Thanks in advance!

  • Hi BPhillips,

What solvent are you using and where exactly is the blanking nut?  If you have it in the sampler (or column compartment if you have one) and it's failing, then suggest you put the blanking nut at the pump, then sampler then column compartment.

If you are already starting at the pump and it's failing, then make sure the solvent is thoroughly degassed.  I like using MeOH or water although others would use IPA.
