System pressure test failing - Agilent Lab Advisor

What solvent are you using and where exactly is the blanking nut?  If you have it in the sampler (or column compartment if you have one) and it's failing, then suggest you put the blanking nut at the pump, then sampler then column compartment.  

If you are already starting at the pump and it's failing, then make sure the solvent is thoroughly degassed.  I like using MeOH or water although others would use IPA.

Hi abasdeo , thank you for your reply. I have placed the blanking nut on the pump and the sampler, I understand why the sampler's failing because the pump is failing. I am using water on the system from the advice of a previous Agilent troubleshooting sheet.

Please confirm if you are still having this issue. 
If yes, you can try using 100% IPA and purge the pump head for 5 minutes at 3mL/min, make sure no bubbles remain before repeating the system pressure test.

If this still fails, please share the system pressure test and leak rate test reports

Hello fgunawan , yes, I am still having an issue. I have been in contact with Agilent, and they believe the issue lies with the software version we have. I am waiting on IT to 'image' the PC so we can download a new NET framework to accommodate the new software. I'll update this page in due course. Thanks for your help.
