Autoreferencing values for needle missing

Hello
we encounter the same problem with our LC-MS 1260 after changing the sample loop
How did you solve this problem? While Agilent only offers us an exchange of the whole injector (to 5000 € ... or technician's move to 9000 €!)

Unfortunately we were unable to solve it. We had to do an instrument exchange. Sorry!

Another other thing you can try is to press the clear data button. Power off then on.  Make sure the needle is in the park station.  Move the transport to the back right.  Then try to auto reference.

As the Infinty II series is still fairly new, it's important to always update to the latest firmware. It might not fix your problem, but is worth a try, plus it will fix some bugs we found. Latest revision is D.07.27

A follow up question about this, if it ever occurs again. When the instrument errored out it prevented us from even initializing the instrument properly. Is it possible to auto reference even if the unit failed to initialize correctly?
