I have been analyzing some samples using MEOX - MSTFA solution. I used Surfasil + N-Hexane (magnesium sulfate to absorb any water)
It was working well. However, it suddenly stopped working. What I observed my old surfasil + n-Hexane solution stopped working. So I made new solution. At first new solutions started working. But then it stopped also. Now if I make new solutions using Surfasil nothing is coming up in the GC-MS chromatogram. Any idea what to do with the Surfasil? I can not buy new Surfasil right now. Has anyone faced any issues like this?
