The Pfeiffer turbopump on my 5977C MSD will not start after shutdown; it does not exceed 5%. When I boot the MSD, the green LED on the pump controller is solid. Then when the turbo fails to reach 80%, the LED starts blinking and the MSD panel returns Fault Status Dec 384 hex 180. it It was running fine prior to shutdown with low background. I do not know the vacuum in the analyzer as the ion gauge no longer works, but the external rough pump is working and the vacuum is strong enough that I cannot open the analyzer door when it is running.
