Peak Drift in GC/MS Residual Solvents Analysis w/ Headspace

Hello,

we're performing residual solvents analysis using GC/MS with headspace injection.

During the sequence run, there is a drift in the peak responses, so that peaks at the end of the sequence are noticeably smaller than in the beginnig of the sequence.

Its a single quad with EI source.

What can i do to get reproducible peak responses?

Or is this a normal phenomenon when using GC/MS?
