LAN Upgrade for 5973 MSD

The GPIB to LAN kit that includes the required fast electronics to run with MassHunter Acquisition  =>   G1088A | Agilent

The 5973A was released in 1996 and went LAN in 1999. It is out of support and some parts are not available.   Is upgrading it worth the investment?

Thank you. I do not need the Precision Electronics. What would the required  part numbers be for the conversion, even if not available from Agilent?

G1088A | Agilent  --- that is the only available solution.  That kit includes an entire electronics module as that is what is required to get from GPIB to LAN - it's a big jump.  At this point in time upgrading a 5973A from GPIB to LAN is not cost effective compared to purchasing a certified pre-owned 5975.
