Agilent checkout sample 05970-60045

Is the method used for the analysis of these 4 analytes validated and can it be modified in terms of column and carrier gas to check for instrument performance?

It would need some adaptation to run using hydrogen carrier.  The inlet pressure running any carrier gas must always be >= 5 psi for decent pressure/flow control, so changing to a 20m × 0.180 mmid × 180 µM film column would be necessary. Method validation is very laboratory specific. NIST says: "Specific details of method validation are likely to differ for pharmaceutical, clinical, regulatory, or research applications, and the analyst is responsible for insuring that any method validation procedures undertaken fulfill the requirements of the application."   (underline is mine).
