Why in GC-MS front inlet pressure shutdown is showing after one or two samples were run?.
Pleas give me some solutions.

Hi elisjesu84,
If you could supply a little more information we may be able to make some suggestions. Instrument model number and inlet type. Also the inlet flow parameters, column size and general methods settings will help. Sometimes this can be because you dont have enough total flow for the inlet for the mode you are operating in, for example, operating with low splits and a total flow of less that 20ml/min with a split/splitless inlet.

James
first make sure you have a enough pressure coming to the GCMS, then look at the inlet septum and make sure it is not worn out
If the inlet is together correctly then it's method based that causing it (too high pressures on the inlet, not enough pressure from the cylinder, too high split on injection, etc)
It could be both...... couple of GC cycles make the inlet nut loose/ not fitting correctly
Or it is mechanical....... septum is on too tight or not tight enough or had too many injections, liner is not sealed correctly, column ferrule not secure or even the wrong ferrule.
Hi,
Just following up. Has your question been answered?
