Front Inlet constant leak

Yes, I changed both ferrules.

I totally dismounted the split line and sealed the split outlet of GC's inlet. The problem didn't solve. Still that exact amount of leak.

Ok...remove column from inlet and just caped inlet with septa in oven and check inlet pressure is building or not..Keep inlet temp. 50..

And one more thing that in split vent filter there is one valve that may also corrupt..if u have front n back inlet then by swapping that valve, confirmation can be done...

I removed the column and closed the lower end of the inlet and I saw a 1ml reduction in the leak. After that I removed the liner and inserted a septum instead (image) (I also put a new septum in the injection port and checked the leak using soup). Literally, I removed inlet from the system, but the leak still was there. As of now, the total flow is 2.4 ml and the column flow is 1.4 ml. I think the gas controller may have leaks.

May be EPC issue as carrier is controlled by EPC..Is it holding septum purge flow or not..

My guess is also EPC issue. I didn't check if it holds septum purge flow. By 'holding' do you mean stopping or keeping the flow?

If the EPC module was functioning properly before you replaced normal consumables, it's probably still working. These are not high failure parts.

Holding means if  u r keeping 3ml/min septum purge flow then it's constant on 3, not going to 2 or 1 or off...

I'm not sure about the history of the equipment. I recently moved to this lab, but the last service was for a year ago and the MS source seemed pretty clean after a year. Is it possible that high He pressure from the cylinder might damage EPC? The lab owner doesn't know how to work with a two-stage manometer, and they usually keep it at 60 psi which seems too high, I suppose. I reduced it to 30 psi.
