tune action stopped: cannot achieve constant peaks widths

Either call agilent to do PM or you can clean source and change rough pump oil...I faced this problem earlier but i always keep one ion source assy and EM Horn in my lab stock to change both immeditely after vent and keeping old ion source in stock again after cleaning..

Basically, if EM horn value is more than 2500 then better to replace it along with cleaning or changing of ion souce...

Ion source cleaning procedure is available in this forum..If you want to clean by yourself then you can follow that procedure..

They charge by the hour so that's going to cost you.  How did you get the instrument there in the first place?
