Hello Community,
I've been analyzing unsaturated HC's in natural gas on a HP-PONA (GC-FID). One of our customers has requested a few alkene components (ethylene & propylene), so I shot a standard with those analytes + C2H2 and 1,3-butadiene.
It appears that the unsaturated components are eluting with their corresponding saturated HC's. Unfortunately, I can't find a relevant reference chromatogram. Is this the expected behavior on this column?
