Daily QC Check for standard solution.

5mg/10mL is 500ppm not 50.    What are you analyzing?  Is this a direct injection?   Are you using an internal standard?  Is this a split or splitless injection? You are actually injecting 500 and getting 37 so something is way off.  Maybe you need a new curve.

Thank you for your reply. Sorry its 50 ppm, 5mg/0.100L = 50 ppm. Im analyze the Acrylonitrile standard solution. It is for QC check before i test the sample. I use headspace GCFID, Means i inject 3 ml of the standard inside the vials. The headspace will volatile the sample and inject the heated vapors to GCFID. My calibration curves is within 1ppm to 70ppm. Is that means any when GCFID detect the volatile sample instead of direct injection? Looking forward your reply.

I've never done headspace testing so maybe someone else can help you.
