7890A GC Initialization is Not Completing

I have a couple questions for this:

- Have you tried restarting the system (whether before or after the logic board change)?

- The GC model, is it 7890A, or 7890A+?

- Also, what is the part number for the logic board you ordered?

It would be hard to tell what the problem might be, more details would be necessary. How did the problem start?

GC model is 7890A. But the logic board was saying it is for 7890A+. Wont it work in 7890A?

By the way, later I tried replacing analog and power board and it solved my problem, with the old logic board on.

The logic board for 7890A+ does not have the same part number as the 7890A. I wouldn't hazard a guess as whether it will "work" or not. It seems like it does in your case.

But as a general rule I would stick to the board part number corresponding to the model number of the GC.
