What detector and what are we looking at? Is this a blank run, solvent run, standard? It looks like normal column bleed of an older column.

Hi Gary! Thanks for answering my question, this is a solvent run with the FID. How would I fix this bleed? Is it trimming of the column or putting in a new one
I'm not experienced in FID so I'm not sure what normal bleed looks like. So yes I would trim the column and check for leaks first then a new column. Can you look back at older runs when this column was installed to see what the bleed looks like to compare?
This column apparently is from 2016, so a new one is prob for the best haha :) I cant look back to when it was installed i think. Thanku tough for having a look and hleping
Baseline rise like that is typical as the column oven heats up.
Yes but this one raised to quickly and my sample would also have this curve and then weird peaks because of that. I didnt see this anywhere else so thats why i came here :D Thankyou for answering
