How do I remove the keyboard from a 7890A?

Question

We have an old 7890A with a good keyboard and an operating 7890A with a bad keyboard (some of the keys do not work). I would like to swap the keyboards. I have removed the side and top panels and I can see 3 torx screws, but I can't see any way of accessing them. They are blocked by the black column that I think is the GC frame.

 There is no procedure available for how to remove a keyboard on the 7890 or any Agilent GC that I am aware of. 
 I would recommend for that type of replacement that you reach out to your local Agilent Team .
