I have an Issue on one of our GC-FIDs 6890N. I have large Peak Tailing, especially on the back of my chromatogramm:
What i already did:
- New Column
- New Septa/liner
- New Gold Plate
- Cleaned Inlet and Detector
- Re-installed Column several times
We usually have a Split of 100 or 200 with this method. This method is a routine method, has worked since 5 years now and we didn't do any changes on it. So i suspect it rather on the technical side than on the instrument parameter side.

Have you an idea what i could do next to solve this problem?
