Good morning,
We have an autosampler (Agilent G4567A) for our GC-FID (7820A) and the following method for cleaning and injecting samples.
I have noticed that when the syringe pumps 2µL of sample for cleaning, it then pumps quite a large volume of air after the sample.
The operation is repeated and then the injection volume is pumped (without air gap after) and injected.
I would like to know if it is possible to reduce the air gap pumped during syringe cleaning with the sample.
I'm not sure what parameter to change.
Thank you.
Cheers.
