GC6890 No connection RS-232

Can you provide a bit more details on this? A non-exhaustive list of things we'd need to know is below:

- 6890 model - Is it 6890A, 6890 Plus, 6890N?

- Type of PC you are using.

- GC Autosampler type.

- Autosampler controller type.

- If available, a photo of the command port and cable for reference.

We might need other information too, but this is a good start.

I still need help yes, please! 

- On the machines (GC system and Injector) it just says HP6890 (see photos attached)

- The PC we employ is an old Windows XP running one, that was used to run the GC-FID before we want to control it with the serial port (see photos attached).

- The autosampler controller is a G1512A (CN00005283).

I attached photos of everything.

Did you ever work out how to fix this issue - I have been having a similar issue with our HP 6890a GC.

If you did mange to it would be really good to hear how you managed it.
