Both columns set to 150 kPa, one of them has intermittent fluctuations of a few tenths of a kPa. GC has been in service 2-3 years - should I worry about this ? will bakeout help ? what could be the issue

In case it is useful information, I should note that I have only noticed this fluctuation while there is no process gas flowing to the GC.
Hi, if the instrument can operate normally, pressure fluctuation is a normal phenomenon, do not worry about it.
BTW, please check the carrier gas sourse should be fixed at 550kPa(+/- 10kPa), and all connections are leak free.
Hi Robert, thanks for the information, much appreciated.
