FID Ignitor Shorted

Question

Hi. 
 I have GC 8890 with FID detector. 
 When I turn on the GC, I get this error. I changed the igniter and the cable that is connected from the igniter to the board. 
 
 How can I check what is causing this error and how to fix it? There is a suspicion that the problem is in the board itself.

Hi, 
 When dedector trying to burn, can you see the wire shining when you look from above? if yes, check the gas quality , accuracy and clogged jet, collector assembly. i f no There may be problems with your ignitor connections or board.

Hi, Mehmet. 
 When the detector tries to burn the ignitor, the wire does not glow. 
 I checked the voltage of the igniter at the moment of switching on. the voltage does not change. (stands at 30 mV). For comparison, I checked on a working detector, the voltage is up to 1.4 V when ignited. 
 As it turned out, the problem was in the signal board.
