I am having difficulty with lighting the FID on my 5890 GC. I took apart the detector and cleaned as best as I could. I removed the jet and cleaned it on a sonicating bath. However, I am still unable to thread a syringe cleaning wire through the jet. It is a capillary jet (0.011 inch). Is the only solution to purchase a new jet? Any advice would be appreciated on how to solve this issue.
