I believe that the only way to get the 7820A Remote Controller software is on disk 1 of the GC and GC/MS User Manuals and Tools disk set which ships with every GC. If you have misplaced your copy then you should be able to request a replacement by contacting your local Agilent support: Contact Us | Agilent

I am going to move this post to the GC area where someone more familiar with the 7820A Remote Controller Software might have other recommendations.

I am going to correct myself. The 7820A Remote Controller software is on DISK 2 of the GC and GC/MS User Manuals and Tools disk set, not disk 1 like I stated in my previous reply.

I just double-checked on my own disc, and the Remote Controller SW is indeed on Disk 2. Particularly, under the "Manual" folder. A bit unintuitive, but it is there.

Also, confirming that you can get a replacement for the disk through Agilent Support, but otherwise the disk is not orderable online as far as I can tell.
