question on splitless injection purge time. not seeing ethanol peak in blank. method as follows Fused silica DB5 30m X 0.32mm; 0.25 um. 0.5 uL sample at 250 C, constant flow 1.8 mL/min, oven 60C to 310C, carrier 1.8 ml/min He, FID at 320C, splitless WITH septum purge flow 3 mL/min, 100 mL/min purge flow to slipt vent at 0.5 minutes. Do I have the split injection parameters right?Why am I not getting the sample onto the column?
