8890 GC - four detector

Question

Hello ! 
 I interesting gc8890 and gc7890. 
 In datasheet the gc 7890 writing about posible instal 3 detector maximum, but in datasheet gc 8890 writing about posible 4 detector. I never see 4 detectors are installed simultaneously on one chromatograph. for exmple in the gc7890 posible- MS///FID///FID install detector - total 3 detector. How/where to install 4 detectors on 8890GC ? I want to know. 
 And if possible then the photo?

Hi Azrael, Two additional GC detectors can be added with the addition of a side mount option. Side carrier with one additional detector shown below. This is not compatible with a MSD. So with a MSD , you can have two GC detectors on top with the MSD. Regards James

Hi Azrael,
8890A has 4 position for detectors. I not sure side mount box has 2 detectors.

1, Front position: all detector can install

2: Back position: all detector can install

3: Middle position(Oven top) : it can install only TCD and FPD+. See attached pic

Not compatible Valve Box and Dual FPD

4: Side mount: it can install only FID, TCD, ECD and NPD. See attached pic, "Side mount.jpg"

Not compatible MSD

Hi Azrael, 8890A can install detectors up to 4. 8890A has 8 slot for EPC. EPC map is below. Detector EPC can install slot 5-8. Slot Number EPC Module 1 Back inlet; PCM configured as an inlet. 2 Front inlet; PCM configured as an inlet. 3 PCM A; PSD 1; AUX EPC 123; Helium Conservation module. 4 PCM B; PSD 2; AUX EPC 456; QQQ CC. 5 PCM C; PSD 3; AUX EPC 789; AUX Detector 2 (side). 6 PCM D; PSD 4; AUX Detector 1 (top). 7 Front Detector. 8 Back detector.

Hello James, Do the Agilent 8890 GC still have the 8 external valve positions and Ext valve and BCD slots for cables on back of the GC? Best regards - Lars

This is correct! There are up to 3 detectors on top of the GC and 1 on the side!

Hi Thkersth I found pic for 2TCDs in side box. Is this 8890 SP1 order? 8890A doesn't have "Knock out" of 2nd detector on left side. Can you share picture of oven inside and left side(below 1st pic)? this is good information for us if 8890A side box can install 2 detectors. It's opportunity for valve solution, it can install valve box with four detectors.
