You can take a look at our Cell Publication Database to look into your specific cell type, then see what others have used as far as cellular adhesive for your specific type. People also use Cell Tak, collagen, PDL, etc. Please take a look and let me know if this helps!

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, there are not many reports on those cells (6 publications in the database with myeloma cells), surprisingly. Only two of those specified a coating agent (CellTak in both cases). CellTak hasn’t really worked for these cells in our hands: the cells stick right after seeding, but lift of during the assay (during the re-oxygenation mix steps is my guess). I have experience with CellTak in the context of other suspended cells (PBMC), and CellTak works just fine with those. - The investigator I am working with suggested Matrigel as coating agent, but I cannot find any reports with it in your database and don’t see how to effectively search for it.
My request would be to point me in the right direction of where to find information on coating agents other than CellTak and poly-D-lysine; I haven’t even found much on PDL or collagen for Seahorse analysis, and nothing for Matrigel. I have talked with your field specialist Dr. Manish Bharadwaj, but he hasn’t gotten back to me about this - I am guessing he is too busy in the field.
The XF24 microplates have a surface area of 0.28 cm2 to the XF96 surface area of 0.11 cm2. We typically seed roughly 40% of cells per well with the XF96/XFp compared to the XF24.
