I use a 7900 ICP-MS with masshunter 4.5 software. Could someone explain the difference between Blank Offset, Force and Ignore as the origin of a calibration curve? Also could someone explain how to use weighting in a calibration curve? In the software what are the steps you have to take to implement weighting on the calibration curve? In the Basic Calibration Parameters tab I click the weighting cell and I select the weighting yet once the calibration has formed weighting failure appears.
