How to Review and Confirm Audit Trails in Data Analysis by Administrators at OpenLab CDS (version 2.x)

Issue:

This article explains tips for how to review and confirm audit trails of Result Set / Injection Data / Processing Method by Administrators at Data Analysis of OpenLab CDS (version 2.x).

Tips: Reviewing the audit trails requires the role privilege Review Audit Trail. The Administrative User can set the role privilege from the OpenLab Control Panel. If this privilege is not predefined, the Review button cannot be seen.

To open the Data Analysis Audit Trail window see:

• For Result data, Sequence, Processing Method in Result Set: How to check and output Audit Trail at Data Analysis in OpenLab CDS (version 2.x)

Steps to follow:

These steps are applicable to opening the Audit Trail for Result Set, Injections, Sequence, Processing Method (Master Methods).

1. In the Home tab, select the desired audit trail and load the required acquisition method. To open the Audit Trail window, select General > Properties > Show Audit Trail. 

   

2.  The pink colored lines in the audit trail are entries that the operator has not reviewed.

   

3. To see audit trail in sequential time display, select the Details icon

   

4. Scroll to the bottom of the list and the Review button will be available. Click Review and complete the review.

   

5. The PDF Export and Print buttons are not available to be selected because audit trials are a part of results or method. The results or the method must be saved before being able to print or export as PDF.

   

6. Close the audit trail window.

7. Save the review:

   1. To Save Method, Select Save Method button and select Save Method from drop-down menu.

   2. To Save Processing Method linked with Result Set, select Save All Results button will also save Processing Method same time.

      

   3. To Save Result Set / Injections / Sequence, select Save All Results button 

      

8. The PDF Export and Print buttons become available. To output the audit trail, click PDF Export or Print.
