How to Hide or Display Chromatogram Gridlines in OpenLab CDS Data Analysis

This Information Applies To:  Agilent OpenLab CDS software version 2.3 or higher.

Issue

Chromatogram gridlines can help users to get a better understanding of the scale of the peaks. However, in some cases, the gridlines are not desired, such as using the chromatogram picture for external documents, or presentations.

Steps to Follow

1. In the Home tab, select the Chromatograms window to display the chromatograms. (Figure 1)

2. Click the gear icon in the Chromatogram window to open Chromatogram Properties window. (Figure 2)

3. In the Chromatogram Properties window, click Chromatograms, then under Display options, clear the Display gridlines check box. (Figure 3)

4. Click Apply to view the effect of the changes, or click OK to accept the new settings.

5. If desired, copy the chromatogram to the clipboard, or export it as a graphic file by right clicking the chromatogram window. (Figure 4)
