Snapshot Function in Open Labs 2.1

Hi Mr.white, it is more a case of 'it wasn't put in' This is a new software, not a new type ChemStation so during development, whichever features have highest priority will be implemented sooner.

See if you have OL 2.2 in your SubscribeNet account; when you purchase OL software, you will receive software updates for a year. Depending on when you purchased 2.1 you may have access to 2.2 and be able to upgrade so you can use the snapshot feature.

The current version of OL 2.3 does not have the Snapshot Function does it?

Sadly the qualification of the device was more then a year ago.

But we didn't finished all the necessary transfers.

Is there any chance to still get the update, and we just pay for the qualification ?

Hi Camelia, snapshot is still present in OL 2.3 but it will be greyed out unless a sample/ sequence is actually running.

I recommend you log into your SubscribeNet account and go to the Product List tab on the left hand side > OpenLAB Software and see if OL 2.2 is there. If it is, you can download it and upgrade your 2.1 license as needed free of charge. If it is not there, you would need to purchase a Software Maintenance Agreement so you can have access to the latest OL 2.X software. Either way, a qualification of the software would be chargeable so I recommend you contact your local Agilent office about this; especially since you seem to have so many files missing which could be causing the report printing issue.

In Acquisition you can access this cool function.

I found something similar to check your samples. The only difference to the "Snapshot Function" is that you only can do that after the run is completed.

But its still a very usefully function.
