Problem with Custom Parameters ; Factor 100000

Hello,

We have a problem in the report and calculation related to Custom Parameters.

In the sequence, Compound Custom Parameters Purity (%) and H2O% are entered.

In the Sample Custom Parameters the water content of the sample.

The problem is that when the processing is carried out, these introduced customs are multiplied by 100,000... It has happened to us in all the analyzes we have carried out. Dilution factor and multipliers are 1,0.

The problem is solved by doing a reprocess all changing to the initial values. But obviously it's not the right way to work.

We work with Openlab CDS 2.3.

Any ideas to solve?

Thanks all!!

  • Hello,

I would guess this is not multiplying the value, but it is not considering the comma as a decimal rather the thousands place.  I assume this may be a localization issue, but when I have a numeric custom field, I cannot use a comma in the number, I must use a period. Have you tried entering the value as 99.60000 is that allowed or does it give you an error as below.
