Automation services are not running

I would look at the automation.log or any copies with a numeric value after the file extension i.e. automation.log.x  in C:\ProgramData\Agilent\LogFiles on AIC. This should show any errors encountered when trying to start the service. It could be a connection issue, local firebird database corruption, storage issue, or a couple of other possible issues. Since this is a client server system based on the AICs, you can also open a ticket with the informatics group if your SMA is current.
