The ID testing process in the pharmaceutical industry often exposes warehouse staff to hazardous materials. This new technical note shows how pharmaceutical manufacturing QA/QC organizations can use the Agilent Vaya Raman system to check raw materials at receipt. This can take place directly in the warehouse, all the while reducing or eliminating exposure to the tested materials. The examples show how Vaya can ID raw materials like methanol, benzoyl peroxide, and fluorouracil through transparent and non-transparent containers in the warehouse quarantine/receiving area.
