Add G1315B DAD to 1290 infinity configuration

Hello, 
 I would like to add a G1315B DAD to a 1290 infinity LC-MS/MS (binary pump 64220A , autosampler G4226A, and column compartment G1316C) running Mass Hunter B.08.00. Is there any documentation on how to configure this in mass hunter? Thanks

Hello Achem , 
 First make certain the firmware on the DAD is at the same revision as the other LC modules. You can use the guides and links on the LC Firmware page to help verify this.

 Then with MassHunter Acquisition closed and the engines shutdown launch the Instrument Configuration utility. This can be found in the Agilent MassHunter Workstation folder on the desktop and then in the Acq Tools folder or from the Start menu under Agilent MassHunter LCMS Acq and then Acq Tools. Since a DAD doesn't have any options to configure you can launch the utility and then without changing anything just click the OK or Configure button, depending on the exact version you have. After a short time you should receive a message saying Instrument configured successfully. You can then launch Acq and you should see the LC with the DAD.
