We just exchanged our TOF (6230) for a QTOF (6530). We reran the exact sample solution on the QTOF and observed a 10 fold decrease in the intensity of the peaks. What could cause the decrease in the intensity. We have diluted the reference solution by 40X thinking that we were getting competitive ionization of the reference signal thus suppressing the analyte signal. What could be causing a decrease in the intensity of the signal (TIC and respective signal for the molecular weight). We are seeing this when we do Rapid Fire High Throughput analysis. We have also tried using a new column. Thank you
