I want to get an APCI source for our G6420A mass spectrometer. Is the G1947A APCI source compatible with the G6420A mass spectrometer? Or do I need the G1947B APCI source?

The G6420A is only compatible with 'B' sources, you will need to use the G1947B APCI source.
