Frit ring stuck in 1290 in-inline filter

Hello everyone

I'm experiencing a higher-than-normal backpressure on a 1290 binary pump, and suspect that the frit ring in the in-line filter (5067-6189) installed right after the pump is partially clogged, as this have previously been the case.

I’ve never changed this frit before, and I can’t see how I’m supposed to replace the frit ring, as the 3 encircled parts below (including the frit in the middle) are tightly stuck together. The technical notes don’t mention any tools other than the ¼ inch wrench needed to first remove the capillary connected to the filter housing, and then open the filter to access the frit ring.

I would greatly appreciate some advice on whether this is normal, and how to replace the frit ring.

Thanks

Mads
