HP-INNOWax 19091N-133I

HP-INNOWax column 19091N-133I cannot be selected during method development, is it possible to select 19091N-133ILTM (ILTM format) as an alternation choice?

    I'm not sure what you mean, but LTM-type columns are only for the Low-Thermal Mass instruments and cannot be used in any standard GC. There is a 30 m x 0.25 mm, 0.25 µm HP-Innowax on a 5 inch cage with part number 19091N-133ie.

    Thanks for your reply.

    The maximum temperature allowed for part number 19091N-133ie is 445℃ and the one we concerned, part number 19091N-133i, is only 270℃. If we select -133ie in the GC method, the program will keep on process even somehow above 270℃ without warning. Hope you suggest how to implement column 19091N-133i if it is not a choice in Column Selection in Method Setting.

  • The Tmax for 19091N-133ie is 260 °C, NOT 445 °C. The difference to 19091N-133i (Tmax also 260 °C) is only the cage diameter 5 inches instead 7 inches.

    I cannot suggest anything instrumental here as this is the columns and supplies forum, if this is about settings in a GC, please pose this question in the GC forum. Thank you
