During glycolysis stress test, my control endometrial cells (60.000 cells/well) did not respond to oligomycin injection, while the diseased condition did (ruling out a problem with the oligomycin). However, both experimental groups did respond to oligomycin normally during the mitochondrial stress test assay.
What could be the explanation for this? Could overconfluency be an issue (more cell death) or are the cells more resistant to oligomycin during glycolysis stress test? Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks!
