This Information Applies To: OpenLab CDS version 2.6 or later.
Contents
This article describes how to process a calibration when some calibration points have been disabled, using OpenLab CDS software version 2.6 or later.
Background
In previous OpenLab CDS versions until 2.5, every calibration standard injection used an interim calibration curve. Amounts in standards and samples were calculated based on those curves.
In OpenLab CDS 2.6 and later a unique calibration curve is used for all samples and standards.
As soon as data gets reprocessed in OpenLab CDS 2.6 and later, the calibration curves will be updated.
Every injection within a calibration cycle will show the same calibration curve.
Amounts and concentrations are calculated using the complete calibration curves.
Note: For other versions of the software, see the article: How to Process a Calibration with Disabled Points in OpenLab CDS 2.1 to 2.5
Steps to Follow
Figure 1. Disabling a calibration point
Figure 2. Disabled calibration point is shown by a red X on the calibration curve
Tips: Reprocessing data does not change the disabled point back to enabled. The calibration point would need to be re-enabled and the Processing method saved again.
