Reporting template editor is not editable or available?(Or I don't know what I don't know..)

Hello,

I wanted to create a new reporting template and read about the template template editor.

I am quite new to ChemStation report template so I just clicked Report Layout but it seems quite different from the old version or the one I used before.

It looks like many functions are invisible or locked and I read that I may need to install TemplateDocumentation.exe but it didn't show up in our computer.

Can anyone tell me where I should start or tackle this?

Hello,

What version of Chemstation are you using? The IR editor was not introduced until the C.01.02 version of Chemstation so A.xx.xx and B.xx.xx will not have it available. Also, for some instrument types in older C.xx.xx versions it was disabled by default. If that is the case, you can enable it in the instrument configuration.

Thanks Linh and Martin! first of all, it was not enabled in the instrument configuration. After the reconfiguration with intelligent reporting, I can see editing option! Also that course was very useful to me! Thanks a lot both!
